As part of our ongoing great crested newt monitoring works at the National Trust's Scotney Castle Estate, Calumma Ecological Services has been considering the plight of newts that breed in a disused swimming pool. Look out for a feature on a forthcoming Countryfile programme where Julia Bradbury ramps up to the problem....
